Xenon level control
Hi! I have a w210 e220 cdi 1999 mod with bi-xenon. I have just bought a pair of headlights with hi-low xenon from USA. My problem is that on my old xenon headlights the level control is a motor (it turns inside a sprocket) and on the new ones it is pneumatic wich push/pull the new headlights. My question is: how do i get this to work since i don`t have any airhoses to connect to the level control? I really hope you can help me with this!

Clearly my friend you haven`t taken a look at the back of either headlights. It`s not possible to switch between those two adjusters, beacuse of the frame housing. The one with motor is a twist function inside a sprocket and the pneumatic one is a push pull ****tion.

Friend if you have a different housing you get the updated 00+ headlights, the first models (96 - 99) has internally the adjuster, in the newer models has the adjuster outside the headlight housing. i cn tell you cause i buy some depos for 99 medel & i replace the vacum atuator by the electric motor..
if you have the outside vaccum you get the wrong headlight model, anyway you can mount one in the car to see if thyy fit perfectly or not (some people unknowing moun the 00+ headlamps in earlier cars & they don't fit properly)
