I am running out of options to save my 97 420E. Neither the dealer or local independent can figure why my car goes into limp home mode on cold start up.
My former mechanic from CA told me to replace the E-GAS module but my local guy misidentified it as the ASR module so I bought the wrong part. There is a member here with a parts car but neither of us have been able to locate the module although I assume it is with the other ones behind the firewall on the passenger side. There are pictures of E-Gas modules on eBay for other cars with the same M119 motor but they don't look like the ones for the 420E.
Any advice on to how find this part?
