how do i reset the srs light?

how do i reset the srs light?
i had to replace my front doors and when i go everything back together the srs light was on. is there anyway to reset it without help from the dealer? i know everything is connected i double checked.

Unfortunately it can only be reset with Star Diagnostics. In addition to your dealer an indie shop or a local enthusiast may be able to help you.

dammit i was afraid of that. i'll have to shop around for a descent indy shop outside the area. . all the 2 local mb shops are complete douch bags about things.

before any thing make sure the airbag on the door and all wiring are good, then you could try grounding the pin# 30 on the round socket next to fuse panel in engine compartment, if not there is a tool to rest on ebay<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
