New Paint next week
I'm going to paint it the same color, Tactite Grey. I was thinking of doing a light tint on the E55 tail lights and on the blinking mirrors. Tomorrow off to the muffler shop to cut the resonators.

Nice Mike. Take some before and after shots. I very lightly tinted my taillights and it looks great. Make sure its light though. You don't want your car looking like one of those Ford Tauruses with the GTO black out covers.

They thought I still wanted the front plate and have to take it off. What do you guys think of the new Steel Grey color??? I think it looks almost the same. Haven't seen it in person yet. I painted the chrome parts of the grill the same color as the car. I had a few small rust spots on body, now gone!!!
Front bumper Looks new again. I will get it maybe tomorrow or Thursday. The rear star is off because I am painting it black.

I understand what you are saying ohlord. My car has the factory AMG package from the dealer. I am in no way shape or form trying to say it is a E55. The fakes are the ones who put fake badges on the trunk. Now saying that I don't see where the jokes would come from. Now talk about posing, change your avatar.

Love the color, like that you painted the grille, think the AMG plate is a little over the top. Wish I'd have seen this post before you painted the car....I would have suggested a blue pearl in it. I have a charcoal gray paint on my truck with a slight blue pearl and it looks amazing.

How much did the paint job cost you? I personally wouldn't put anything AMG on my car, but thats just me.
