Right Side View Mirror Prob

After backing up my right rear view mirror only partially returns to its original position. I've tried resetting the memory to no avail. I am hoping for a simple solution, what am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Looks like no one answered the question posed on 07-27-2010. It sounds like it is sticking so remove the mirror cover and look at the mechanism. It might just need cleaning and a bit of lubrication.

It is amazing how much crap accumulates in the housing. Musikmann is right. Most times it is as simple as clean it out and re-lubricate the mechanism.
