My new car.

So I picked up a 2001 e320 with 110k miles. Belts have been changed and inside the car looks brand new. Only issue is the car needed two new motor mounts. I'm having them put on now and that's why I don't have picture yet. I paid 7k. Everything else on the car works perfect. Driven by an older lady and maintained very well. Its green with tan leather. Pictures tomorrow!

Nice!! I just bought my self 01 E320 with 102K miles, for $8K about 2 months ago. I have to change my motor mounts too. Can you feel the vibration of the car? or does the car jerks when it shifts?

You can feel it when the car is in drive at a stop light or in reverse. My tech is doing the job for $200 no big deal. Other than this the rotors will need to be changed soon but the breaks are still in good shape. AC is cold and factory sounds system sounds brand need. No dead pixels anywhere. There is one scratch on the car and the headlights need to be wet sanded like most cars this age but other than these little issues, its n great shape.

Nice, congrats, sounds like a good deal. I bought mine in Oct '09 with 94k miles for 9700 and it is an '02, but cars here are usually overpriced. Don't forget the pics!

You guys think it would be a good idea to go ahead and change the tranny oil too?

Definitely change the tranny oil and filter if you don't have documentation that it was done in the last 30k miles.

Yeah im going to have that done and a few other things. Already had the engine mounts, oil change-filter and new tires put on yesterday. Now I need a tranny oil change and headlights need to be wet sanded (unless some one knows a better trick?) One really weird thing I cant figure out is the door locks. When the car is running the locks work as they should but when the key is in my hand the ALL doors unlock with the key but NONE lock? Im going to do a search but if anyone has any advice, ill take it.

Ps pictures are coming soon. I had to have new tires and a good cleaning before I could take her first pictures.
