Hey everyone I have a slight problem. I added a little bit too much oil. Is there a way to drain it out just a little bit without doing a normal drain?

If it's anything under 0.5 quart then I wouldn't worry about it, it's burn off. If it's more then you need to get some out either by draining (good luck with that) or sucking a bit out though the dipstick tube.

What do you mean by "sucking a bit out though the dipstick tube.?"

Get a "top sider" or similar vacuum oil remover. Suck some oil out.
ps - that's how you change the oil without ever climbing under the car. Warm the engine up, unscrew the oil filter cover so the filter housing drains into the pan, remove dipstick, stick the topsider tube down the hole, pump up some vacuum, and suck the oil out. Simple.

How much is a little bit?
Even without a suction evacuation doing it the work shop way, sucking it out....
You can open the filter cap pull the filter and hold it over a drain pan and that will (albeit messily ) get rid of the overage.

Where are you located?
You can get a hand pump oil transfer pump for a few bucks at harborfreight tools if you have one near you or do like I instructed above.

That will take forever. Get a topsider. It is worth its weight in gold.

When I bought my E320 I had my mechanic do an oil change (I've done all my own since) and he put in 9 qts of Mobil 1 instead of 8.5 which caused the "too much oil" error. I bought a cheap syphon at an autoparts store and hand syphoned out about a cup, or less of oil and the error went away. I've since bought a topsider and absolutely love it and use it for oil changes on my E320, my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my boat. Note that it will not work on all engines. Cant get the tube down the dipstick in my 2005 Suburban or a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
