Smoke coming out from sides..

Hey everyone,

I had a smoking issue coming from my e320, i was driving on the highway for a distance of about 60 miles, going to my destination it was fine no problems, but on the way back i noticed when i completely stopped, smoke started arising from the car, not exactly sure where it came from, but it seemed to be coming from the wheel areas on all 4 wheels. It didnt have that burn't smell, i had the ac on the whole time and that was about it, does anyone know if this is something i should be concerned about or if anyone eles experienced this? your input would greatly be appreciated, thanks!

things with and without wheels
Did the brakes feel like you had to step on the pedal harder?
When you say smoke ,did it smell like oil burning?

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Don't drive it

until you can examine the underside and the engine to see what is wrong.
Something happened.
Hope it is just some road debris that got on the exhaust and burned off.
Don't risk damage if it is anything else.

did you drove into a puddle with hot rotors/pads? water evaporation? or maybe some leak dripping on headers/exhaust?

robertG: nope they felt normal, and the smoke didn't have that burn smell either

ohlord: yeah i shall bring it in asap, just wanted to see if this occured to anyone else too =\

zheka: nope it was a pretty hot day at around 30 degrees,i thought it could've been maybe a leak of some sort from the exhaust, but steams where coming out of all the 4 tire areas =\
