Wheel help!

Hi:
I have a 2000 E320. I am thinking of upgrading to 18X8" wheel. My question is that will I need to change any parts (spring) of the car to accomendate these wheels? Will they rub the body of the car? Will the wheels affect the accuracy of speedometer, GPS...etc? Thanks!

As long as you choose the correct tire size, you should have no problems.

You can go as wide as 8.5" without rubbing at stock height as long as you keep your offset at ET35. You will not have to change the springs if your don't want to. It will look better if you do to close the tire to fender gap and will also handle better, but that's your call. You also don't want to put anything larger than 40 series tires. On 18X8's a good tire size would be 225X40X18. Low profile tires for the size I specified are usually high performance. The affect to the odometer is very minimal and hardle (if) noticeable. GPS is not affected.
