Snow tires

Hi guys,

i have been debating on which snow tires would be ideal for my 430.These are my first winter tires ever. I was originally debating between the Michelin X Ice XI2, and the Continental Extreme Winter Contact, until i was told that they were a T rated tires and that i needed at least an H rated tire because the T rated studless snow tires would burn out very fast because of torque and they would make the car very wobbly and mushy as far as handling goes.

All performance H rated tires are considered performance snow tires which i guess sacrifice some snow traction for everyday use and dry road handling although still better than a all season in snow. I was recommend some H snow rates toyo snowproxes rather than the above mentioned T rated tires.

I really want great snow traction when it snows(which it should at least 5 times), but i also fear of having to replace the tires after 2 seasons. I am really torn between the pro's and con's of a performance vs regular studless snow tire.

Any thoughts, opinions or any input is appreciated
thanks

In my experience, the rear tyres need to be replaced after two seasons...

I'm getting these (General Altimax):

H rated will hold up to extended driving at 130mph. Do you intend to do that on snow tires? I wouldn't think speed rating is going to matter. They will all be squirmy on dry pavement.

Thanks a lot no way i would ever want to go that fast. i just thought the Speed rating also played a role in wear as well.
