99 E320 Driver window only goes up using key
I can only close the driver's window using the key and holding down the "lock" button which closes all windows and sunroof.
The console button will lower the window, but not raise it. The car battery was disconnected for servicing on Friday (2 days ago). All other windows function normally.
I think I tried the reset procedure as I found in another thread here and in the manual, however that indicates I should press the up and hold it for 2 seconds or longer once the window is closed, but in my case the window doesn't close. I've tried both with the window fully, and partially open.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Try pressing the
express key feature and holding it for a few seconds in the unlock button so all the windows open and the sunroof opens. Then do the same close and hold in the locking position.
