CATALYTIC CONVERTER
I have an 1999 e320 with 100k miles, started hearing noise under the car about 6 months ago. Emmission test is required and I/M monitor is reading incomp. for CATALYTIC mon. Not sure if both converters need to be replaced or if their is something else wrong.

are you located? It will help with the issue.
Have you looked under the car to hear where the sound is coming from?
Why have you driven around for 6 months with a noise you have not examined?
