Where is this fan ? The one I saw by the grill seemed to be spinning just fine. Too scared to drive the car and it over heat blowing up a head gasket.

What should I do guys?

Ok can anyone suggest a site to where i can buy a new fan ? they want 100 dollars down here in houston texas just for the motor ! i see on ebay they got the whole fan assembly for like 150

They claim oe but that is the same scam as the old days of 45rpm records.There was a group that named themselves the "Originals" So any records they fooled people with could not be returned."Hey you bought the "Originals"

Yes, it is aftermarket. Odds are good that it will last longer than the MB fan that was frozen after 10 years. Saving a couple hundred is not bad either.
