I'm going to be updating my 1997 E320 to the look of a 2002 E55... Just wondering if anyone els on here has done this and if so what all will need to be changed to accommodate this upgrade.

So far I have purchased the 02' Front bumper, 02' front fenders, 02' Headlights, 02' grill, 02' rear bumper, 02' Rocker panels...

Not the grille only pal, you need the entire hood with the grill *** well

Also, you would buy the newer mirrors to complete the update!

you need the hood too. If you search craigslist in the bay area, I think someone was selling a hood off of an 00' for like $250 or something.

Hey thanx Y'all!... Yes I have the hood just forgot to put that. I thought about the mirrors but are they compatible?

Sure, are compatibles, but you need the complete asembly, the cover only not work 4 our models. try some used ones by a 00+ car. Maybe ebay help

i think the shock absorbers (sponge inside the bumpers) are different for the newer model! you need the 3 grilles for the front bumper & of course the Fog lamps. & if you want a full conversion change too the door's impact stripes newer model are different, the chrome stripe are a bit lower in the updated cars

No need to replace it.. paint the black plastic only & keep the chrome part
