Shifter Module Cleaned - Limp Home Mode

An open door, a Mocha, and a dog! Removed entire shifter module, completely taken apart and cleaned, and put back in car. Results - no back-up lights and no gear indicator on dash; put in Reverse out of garage with a noticed higher rev to engage; into Drive back into garage (same high rev to move); now will only go into Nuetral (pen into the release to put into Park); then errors show up on dash message board - BAS failure and ESP failure.
Do I need a reset of the computer (and how), a new TCM, ... ? I suspect the R/R of the TCM is well under an hour ... the second time.

Cleaned it with

crc maf cleaner and dried with fan?
Most likely if you did not recover it it is now toast since you started the car and put it in drive.
Need a module?

CRC QD Electronic Cleaner and an overnight drying.

And .. yes, I apparently do need a shift module for a 2000 E430. Based on previous threads, you have access to them, so if you PM me, maybe we can work something out. Like to get info on the tool you have for removing spark plugs, also.
