2000 E 320 4Matic Wagon & 1993 Toyota Camry
Datacard Delivery Date Question
The EPC Datacard for a 2000 E 320 4Matic lists the delivery date as:
Delivery date: 07 09 1999
Anybody know if this is July 9, 2009 or September 7, 2009?
My guess would be September 7th, since it would be day/month/year and I kind of doubt they were shipping the next model year as early as July. I just don't know how MB formats their dates on these forms.
Thanks in advance.

Look at
the date of production. It is on the stamped plate in the drivers door post.
That is the only important date along with the vin.number for ordering some parts that may have changed during a years run.
Change your transmission fluid and filter

That is if you bought the car yet or are still shopping

2000 E 320 4Matic Wagon & 1993 Toyota Camry
I'm still shopping. The car in question is a 2000 E 320 4Matic Wagon with every feature except the Nav, I believe. I am very interested in it, and if everything checks out it should be in my possession shortly. However, there are still a lot of unknowns. Heck, the dealership called me this morning to inform me it was not a 4Matic after all. The Datacard states it is a 4Matic, as does their original listing and the carfax. He said the tires spun in the snow when they moved it. I dunno, maybe they had the ESP turned off. It would be much easier if the dealership wasn't 550 miles away.
I'm very interested in the car, just not too impressed with the dealership at this point. I'm going to be very careful with this one.
Thanks for your help.
