CLK430 17" AMG wheels
Do you guys know if the 2002 CLK430 AMG 17" sport wheels will fit on a 2002 E320 4Matic wagon? I'm not sure the size/offset, but I do know they're staggered. Also, I probably need to get new front tires for them(they're currently on 225/45/17 on the front. I think the rears are 245/40/17.
Any help/input would be appreciated.

The fronts
would be to far in which requires a spacer but might be close. The rears would be to far out and have to be moved inwards so nothing you can do about that.
W210 amg rims have the proper offsets although with staggered rims you need to be real careful that tire diameter, squat, and traction all match up very close or the 4 matic can have big issues.
Get some 17's all 35et offset w 235/45/17 rubber and call it good.
I am sure you will get a few bozo's running 20's that will try to convince you otherwise

I have amg 17s from a 2001 clk430 on my E420. 225/45 front, 245/40 rear no issues at all. I had to get longer lug bolts, the amg rims have a much thicker center then my stock 16s

Your car looks nice...can you tell me where/which "longer" lug bolts you purchased? Also, did you ever consider putting on 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rears on your car?

Patrick, I went to my local tire and rim shop and ordered lugs for a 2001 clk 430 amg. Problem solved. As for the bigger tire size, I'm not sure if the bigger tire size you provided will work. A good rim and tire shop should be able to tell you if you can go bigger. They have some sort of way to measure and see if the bigger tires will fit without rubbing. From what I understand the 235/45 and 255/40 will fit on the rims but I'm not sure if they won't rub the car. I would like to think they would work being that I'm currently running 19s with 235/35 in the front and 275/30 in the rear. Hope this helps. Good luck

Ugh...disappointed but after further discussion w/ former master MB technician, he advised against ANY staggered set-up(he's seen them blow up on 4Matics).
Now, I'm having to resort to finding 17" AMG monoblocks that are identical size(difficult to do)...or just buying replica wheels.
Does anyone have experience w/ replicas, and what sizes do you think?
7.5 or 8" width, and 235 or 245 tires?
Thx all.
