Hi all,
Just got new Pioneer head unit to replace the stock 2002 MB E320 unit...and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how nice the sound improvement was - AND it has integrated bluetooth as well as iPod/usb charger and adaptor. The unit was $189, plus installation so about $260...but well worth the money, imho.
Although the steering wheel control and the CD changer will no longer work, I think the trade-off was well worth it...it was model DEH-7300BT. The only other thing I was was more bass(ie. add subwoofer), but that will be for another day
