12v Accessory Plug/Cig Lighter
The 12v accessory plug in my E430 doesn't work. I'm first trying to locate the fuse, and then if that doesn't work, I'll have to find a new lighter. It looks like it will be pretty easy to access, if I can just find a new one. I've checked autohaus.com, but there's nothing there.
It looks like someone held the cigarette lighter in the socket until it cooked everything. (nice.)

I got it! I took the dash apart and took it out. As I moved the connection around, it appears to have come to life! I even found the lighter when I took the console apart!
Ok, now to the next thing to tackle. I love this forum! I've fixed probably 10 things I would have never tried without searching and finding great advice and instructions from this forum. Thanks!!
