Rough Idle-Engine shiver

Rough Idle-Engine shiver
Hey everyone,
My W210 has had this problem for quite sometime.
During cold starts, and while in drive, at a red light, the engine shakes/shivers extremely harsh.
If i put it in neutral it goes away.
The weird thing is that the issue happens sometimes, and sometimes there is no vibration at all.
No codes, motor mounts are not the issue. I always use premium 93 gas.
If anyone knows the fix for this issue please shed some light.
Thanks in advance.

Check all spark plug and coil connections first. You may have a cylinder misfire due to lose connection or a possible broken plug. Have you changed the plugs? Sometimes people get over zealous when putting plugs back in and torque them way too tight. I f no codes showing up maybe a trip to the indy for a diagnostic on the coils would be in order. could be a bad coil.

One other thought. In the case of it being one of three things; air, fuel or spark delivery, it seems like air and fuel are ruled out due to off idle performance where it smooths right out, hence my thoughts around spark delivery.
