HAVING RECURRENT PROBLEM WITH a/c. 5 TIMES THE DEALER SAYS THERE IS A LEAK BUT CAN'T FIND IT. Car has only 55K miles on it and I hate to dump it.

How to find the leak?

Put some leak detector in the system (green fluoresent fluid) fill full A/C gas & run the AC by 2 weeks, after, search with a fluorescent lamp under the car (compressor, condenser etc) but i'm pretty sure you have a evaporator leakage by the age. other way is one little valve in the compressor (common problem)
