2 new toys today
Pretty coo you talk it goes to the web page, you talkittypes

The other a new ride. The proverbial barn find. Looking at a nice MGB
Andtheguy says he has another under cover alongside the house. Mint condition 24k mile. The rarest of colors Bedouin with autum leaf interior a $700 robbins cloth top.
Well over $7000 on the market, pickitup for $2400. Rust free runs like a top
The guy was not eventhinkingofselling this 1971 MGB until I told him I hadthesame rare color brand new when I ordered it while in Vietnam in 1971
40years and dega vue all over again
Keeping it stock for the summer and next winter a 220hp GM 3.4liter V6
As to the defile objection,MG was in the process and made a few V8 powered MG's with the rover v8 which was a buick GM 215cu in engine. So installing a lighter v6 GM is still a valid swap. If MG had not gotten killed in our market with smog and bumper height regs a v based engine would have allowed it to go freeway speeds in the modern world.
I'm just making it what it could be. I will enjoy the tiny engine for a bit
Too many projects

some other MGB videos listed in the side bar under my MGB profile
1971MGB My latest is the Bedouin tan colored one.
Side note picked up a 130K mile 1988 300E yesterday to
swap it's low mile engine and trans into a mint condition White 1988 that trans and engine has seen better days.
Bought it for $650 with new battery and he just installed a new water pump, hoses and belts. After it donates the engine and trans and maybe the grey leather int. I will part out all good parts and glass and still have an offer of over 400 bucks scrap iron from a recycler. Gotta love when a plan comes together
