Help... Cd changer died, want to EOM radio
hi
my cd changer just died on me
i am thinking to replace my OEM radio by my self
my questions ?
do i just need a harnest & antenna adaptor ?
will there be a problem regarding the pre installed amp ?
how can the amp get signal from the new radio,
does the harnest have a connector for the amp??
ANY DYI or youtube video ??/
Thanks

Check the stickie in the Audio/Electronics forum for details but...
If you purchase a aftermarket radio from someone like Crutchfield you will receive the radio, a patch cord to go from the MB wiring harness to the back of your new radio and a set of 'radio removal keys' to extract the OEM radio. Everything will be 'PlugnPlay'. You might need the DIN to RCA antenna adapter if it's not supplied.

Roach. You have a 2000 like I do. You may need to hook into the cigarette lighter for power. If you dont make sure the power on the wire harness actually goes somewhere when the harnesses are connected.

Get an Audio 10. It works with the steering-wheel controls. And you might be able to get a changer from a member here or at benzworld.
