short squeel noise

I replaced the serpentine belt about 6 months ago. It's a slight squeal, very short sound when engine shuts off. I will try to pinpoint the sound tomorrow. It sounds like its coming from the front passenger side.

If you have a mechanics stethoscope, you can listen to each of the pulleys on the front of the engine. If one is failing, chances are it will make a little noise while running although maybe not enough to hear it by ear over the fan/engine noises. BTW, the stethoscopes are pretty cheap at auto parts stores.
Unfortunately, even a year old part can fail. Unlikely but no guarantee.
