02 e320 wagon, cranks won't start, will restart when hot
I have a 02 e320 wagon, this morning my wife called me after droppping the kids off at school and said the car wouldn't start. I met her out where she was and the car cranked but would not turn over. I put it in neutral, pumped the pedal and it weakly turned over. It then ran perfectly fine to her job, I got out of my car and her car restarted fine, talked with her about five minutes and tried it again and got the original problem of cranking but not turning over.
From what I've read, would the restart when hot remove the cps from consideration and would their be any other solutions?

Thanks for the response. I need to edit my original post.
The engine cranks when you go to start it but doesn't turn over. If you give it gas it will turn over. Any suggestions on what that issue is?
