Are trying to replace the serpentine belt or the belt tensioner? Tension is automatic.

The belt is replaced by rotating the tensioner and inserting something like a 5mm drift to hold it open. Then remove old belt and replace. Should be a diagram of the routing under the hood and in the owners manual. Same belt comes in different lengths so be sure to get correct one.

There is a good DIY on tensioner replacement on benzworld

It's also discussed several times on this forum. Check forum search.
