no horn , signals or stereo???

ive checked all the fuses .. under the hood , under the seat and front drivers side fuse panel .... they all appear good .
is there something im missing ??

i also forgot to mention that the power lock button in on the dash doesnt work either .
its a 1998 e430 .

The only thing I can think of that those have in common is the CAN bus. You could try to disconnect the battery wait about 15min and reconnect. Sort of a 'reboot' for the cars computer. If you try this, you'll need the radio security code to get it working unless it's an aftermarket radio. You'll also have to resync express window feature and sunroof.

i got ythe horn ,and lights and locks working , but still no steroe ... its a factory deck , ...are there fuses on the deck itself??? how would i pull the deck out ?

Assuming it's a Becker there is a fuse on the back of the radio. Although it's more likely that the fuse in the fuse panel would blow first.

To remove the radio (and the climate control unit for bulb replacement) you need a set of radio keys. They fit into the two horizontal slots at the bottom corners of either unit. Inserting them compresses the latches and the radio can be pulled out. The ones from the dealer work the best but there are several types for sale online.

If you disconnect the power to the radio you'll need the radio code when you reconnect it. Code was supplied on a small card with the owners manual set. If you can't find it (a five digit code), you can go to a dealer and they'll look it up when you show ID and registration. No charge.
