hid in fogs help??

i have a 98 e320 sedan and cant get my hids in my fogs to work i know they use h1 bulbs. is there a extra wire or relay i have to use?? is there a DIY ?? to show how to connect them ....

highly unlikely that your HIDs are H1 bulbs....but more like H1 (re)base of a D2S
bulb.

probably would be helpful if you can draw diagram of what you did to give folks
an idea what they're trying to analyze

It should be fairly straightforward. Just make sure the polarity of the wires are correct. You do not need a relay harness.

This is how I hooked it up ... I put the wire from the back of the stock h1 bulb to the red wire on the hid ... And the black wire that's connected to the housing on the foglight housing .. I took it off of the housing and put it on black wire from the hid ...

Check polarity. When I did mine the positive and negative were backwards, even though it appeared like it was done correctly. So hook the wires up the other way and see if you get "light". Also I did not hook up resistors to HID fogs, CEL never popped up.
