HELP! Car won't start after battery died.
I killed my old battery (it was 5 years old anyway) and so I replaced it and now my car won't start. I have a 97' E320. Just reached the 100k mile mark.
- Checked my fuses
- Checked my connections
- Checked ground
- Checked my K40 relay (circuit board looked good)
- Tried charging battery
The starter gives a click but doesn't crank the engine. There is a buzzing coming from my butterfly valve motor on the throttlebody (sounds like it is having trouble aligning?). Did my starter just decide to go without warning? I gave it a quick tap with a pipe and still nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.
