W210 - aftermarket Slim Ballast HID Kits

Has anyone bought / installed these aftermarket HID ballasts ? How difficult and how well do these work ??? Met a dude at an elctronics store that sells them on the side .. just not sure if they are reliable...any info would be GREAT !!!

I have some I got from ebay in my fogs and they work fine. I dont use them/the car often though.
Do you have the depo headlights? If so you might want to consider retrofitting better projectors before installing hids.

i've had those on my motorcycle for 4 years and 15k miles....... no problems yet.... could be luck though, who knows....

@illest - thanks for the info, i have some aftermarket headlights ..not sure the mfg? Are you recommending replacign the glass/acrylic sphere inside the light assembly? I may just buy the NOKYA light bulbs instead, still unsure which direction i am going to go....

tbone - read this thread. Retro fitting a higher quality projector in the housing will make the lights perform better and not blind other drivers.
