2004 E500 Wagon & 1999 E320 Wagon
Rear Center Shoulder Strap Tensioner Stuck
Was changing out the driver's side broken rear seat latch on a 1999 E320 wagon and everything was fine until I noticed the center seatbelt shoulder strap has tightened up and is stuck .... does anyone know how to release it? The seat back is still apart. Thanks for your help!

OK no worries ..... after screwing around with the take-up reel for about an hour with no success, I finally just screwed it back into place then slammed the seat back to the locked position out of frustration and it started to work again .... phew!
