Weirdest thing in your E320

Yeah I figured you had the factory xenons which would have it's own separate light bulb if it was to have DRLs... Oh I have a question for u, today when I took my car for a cruise I decided to play with the tiptronic. But after I shift from 4th gear to 5th gear it just goes into drive, does yours do this too? My BMWs tiptronic was slightly different and would have shifted and stayed in 5th gear for example

My 2011car ( E 350 Bluetec ) has 6000 miles on it, but I have had problems since almost day one. First problem (that keeps happening) is putting the car in drive or reverse, step on the pedal, and go nowhere. Dealer "fixed" it first time, but it has happened many more times where they cannot duplicate the problem, hence no fix.
The more serious problem is the car won't shift out of 1st gear until 30 MPH, and then shifts with a loud/very noticeable "thug". Dealer and Dealer Rep rode with me and told me:"We are aware of this problem, but it is within current specs, therefore we (the dealer) can't offer you a fix"
Problem was solved by me to move to the "12 model, which has a new transmission that we are all holding our breath does not come DOA with the same issues. Expect delivery Oct. 10th.
