How many quarts???

I just changed the oil and filter in my "new" 1997 E320 ( straight six) and added 7 quarts of oil and checked the stick. Over filled! The manual calls for 7.5 qt. What should it take? Also, where can I get a repair manual? Thanks, Big Ron

This topic has been discussed in another thread before and there was quite a bit of info. in it that might interest you. Try doing a search in here on "Mobil 1" or "Oil" or something within those topics to see if you can find it.
