Can the ignition switch be removed and repared?
I have a problem with the ignition switch , hard to turn it to (on) position and as if this isn't enough a lot of times when i turn it to (on) the the lights on the dash board wont go on on and the engine wont turn over at all . i deal with this problem everyday , sometimes better and sometimes worst . it is making me start hating benz . Can anyone tell me if it possible to take out the whole switch and maybe look if there is anything loose or that does not make good contact or something at all . it cost to abot $600 to buy a new switch at the dealer in fairfield connecticut. Please if enyone has any info at all let me know . thank you
