^sorry to hear that on the other hand i ordered both the mounts from autohaus $130 Shipped and had a local shop install for $200 + tax and i must say the car is 100% more smoother. the car had a ridiculous vibration in D and R and its all gone.

I have a 2002 E320, and I get a good amount of vibration, especially on the steering wheel. I get the vibrations most when switching gear to Reverse and when the engine is on idle. Would you guys say my engine mounts are the problem?

Definitely sounds like your motor mounts. Replace both engine mounts and there should be no more vibration.

You have to check with your dealer. Prices vary. Maybe $600-$700 (includes parts). You can get the mounts from a third party online supplier and have an indy install them. Maybe about $350 ($130 for mounts and $220 for labor) or so.
It's helpful if you fill out your profile including the exact model and your location when asking for advice.
