1997 E-420 Firing Sequence needed....
Any help here would be appreciated. Could someone please confirm the firing order for a 1997 E-420? I think that it is 1234 front to back on passenger side, & 5678 front to back on driver's side, but I want to be absolutley positive of this before I replace the coil pack on cylinder "8". Please help & thanks!

Hi and Welcome -
If you want the cylinder numbers then you are correct. Left (drivers in US) side front to back is #5-#8, right side is #1-#4. However, this is not the firing order which refers to the sequence. The order is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2

1997 E-420 fuel injector question...
Thanks for your reply on the firing order. I appreciate it. One more question if you don't mind. One of my fuel injectors is leaking, so I was going to replace the "O" rings on all 8 since I'm going to have the entire rail free. Do you have any advice for carefully removing and replacing?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Sorry for not responding soon. I've been in the middle of the SoCal power outage.
I haven't had to perform any service on my injectors which I attribute to burning only Chevron (? ). You might want to look at the stickies for maintenance DIY here, at benzworld and at peachparts for any details.
