Weird noise from vent
Wondering if anybody else experienced this before, but if I turn on the car while its cold their is a weird noise coming from the vent like a more eehhhh sound.... If I just turn off the A/C then turn it back on it disappears, only happens sometimes when the car is cold and is very difficult to duplicate. Any ideas?

I actually never tried increasing the blower motor speed, instinctively I would just shut it off and when I turn it back on not even a second after the sound is gone. It only does this when its cold... so during summer it never happened at all. I will try to duplicate the sound and turn up the motor speed instead of turning it off to see what happens then I'll post back here on my findings. Thanks for the input

Strange noises from the vent meant a failing fan speed regulator for me. Sometimes a squeal, whistle, or a bearing noise....
Another possibility especially if it is on cold days only.... There is a fan that cools the ECU. Mine always makes a noise until the car warms up on cold days. The fan is located on the firewall in the engine bay on the passenger side. The noise is like a failing bearing.
