1999 E320 door lock button not working

Hi,

The door lock button on my 1999 E320 stopped locking recently. It unlocks just fine but won't lock. Any ideas?

You need to be more specific to get help. Are you using the key or the switch inside car?? Is it one door or all doors

I'm using the switch. It will unlock the doors but it won't lock them again after.

try to clean the switch with some electrical cleaner on the contacts. It looks like a spray can with a little brush on the tip. What I did was just went to the junk yard when my trunk switch gave up. The contacts get dirty inside the switch.

Great. Will do. Do you know where I can find instructions on pulling the panel off to get to the switch?

I had the same problem a few days ago when I fixed my passenger side door lock. it wouldn't lock if it wasn't attached properly. It might not be the problem, but it's possible
