my low beams on my 2001 e320 with projector headlamp overheated and melted the bulb and the thing you plug into the bulb. i bought a new one at autozone today can anyone give me tips how to wire it in and install. help will be really appreciated

 

before you put in the new bulbs you need to check the wiring harness so this does not happen again. It may need to be replaced if its melting the connectors.

 

this is challenging because if your electrical skills are at the neophyte level, it
isn't easy to provide crystal clear DIY instructions for you. i'm not sure what
more details you need other than to clip the damaged connector and wire in the
replacement in series. shrink wrap the soldered joint.
