E420 Tick Tick Ticking!!!
SOOOOO I have tried all the simple tricks to repairing the annoying ticking sound that these cars have of this engine model the 4.2 l V8. Anyways I change the oil to mobile one from penzoil because like a dummy i went to jiffy lube and got a oil change not only did they rip me off but they screwed me over and made the ticking a bit worse.Sooo to make a long story short I have narrowed it down to two issues it 1. The hydraulic valve lifters or 2. The oilier feed tubes (camshaft) or something like that CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? basically what I would like to know is which one i should go for first and what are the technical names for the parts so i can find a place to buy them?

Lucas oil stabilizer
will not solve the very common problem of the failed oil feed guides on the M119 engine.
Get the parts,follow the diy,solve the problem.Before it galls a camshaft.
