AC And Radio Swapped
Hey Guys, this is my first post on the W210 section, I've been on the W211 most of time.
Anyways, so my AC unit was only blowing warm air so i had to send the car in , i got it back, but the radio and the ac units have been swapped, the AC is now sitting under the radio, it gives the dashboard a very ugly look ! I know taking the units out is simple with the keys, but is there any risk of damaging anything ? Will i be able to DIY ?
Thanks Guys !

E430 4-Matic and E320 4-Matic Station Wagon
With the keys theres absolutely no risk of damaging anything. What puzzles me is that the connectors for the radio, and the AC unit are different, so you may have to move the wiring around to get things back in there proper place. If I were you,I would take it back to the place that messed it up in the first place, and have them take care of it for you. Hopefully at no cost.

Well actually i don't mind playing around a bit with the car, it sits in the garage most of its time :p i've always wanted to work on it someday, and it seems like a good chance to do so, should i disconnect the battery ?

No just have
the key out of the ignition.
A lot of people swap the positions when installing single din flip out radios.

just did this on mine, went back to factory had a single din nav unit in, it literally takes 5minutes, pull out units, move wires, plug back in and done...if u ever need keys and are in a hurry...a smooth nail file works just be careful not to scratch anything
