e200 98 Bumper problem

e200 98 Bumper problem
hi, i have a e200 98.
it got a bump there a while ago on the back bumper in the corner.
it caused little damage. though one thing that happened is that the chrome top on the bumper. like in the picture below.
came apart from eachother.
basically the chrome finish comes in three parts the left, right and centre.
the 2 sides ones overlap the centre one. nice and tidy.
though after the bump the right side is underlapping the centre.
and trying to pry it back on top seems impossible.
do i have to take the bumper off?
