Code P0560 Help
Morning I go to school car works fine and there is nothing wrong... When class ends I'm go to start my car it sounds weak but starts nonetheless, I figured battery issue maybe? Anyway I'm driving home and the BAS / ESP / SRS light comes in, as well as Battery Underpowered and I noticed that my HID's are flickering....
I pull over, shut off the car, unplug my HID's and then I turn on the car again. Still starts up weakly but starts up in the end, I continue to drive for about a couple minutes and then the BAS / ESP / SRS light comes on again as well as the Check Engine Light and the engine sounds like its lacking power.
This time i'm not taking chances, so I shut off the car and call in the tow truck to bring it to a shop, in the two hours I waited for a flatbed to come get my 4Matic I whipped out my OBD2 scanner and checked the codes and the only one that came up was P0560, I checked

this link which told me System Voltage Malfunction. I checked my battery terminals they are tight, my belts are tight, so long story short any ideas what it could be guys? Alternator? New battery? I'm thinking it might be the Alternator but the battery is 12 years old and wouldn't hurt to get changed. Thanks in advance.
