How to replace lamp socket?
Hello, First post so if it's wrong just let me know what to do.
Question: How do I replace the lamp socket for a e430 2000 on the driver side - city light. Part number a 210 826 05 82.
I picked up the part from the dealer, looks easy enough, 2 wires one grey, one brown with slide connectors.
Problem: I can't seem to find out where the wires on the car are going to. The middle cover on the inside of the car does not turn to remove so I am trying to find out what i am doing wrong. I don't want to man handle it, and break that middle piece if it is not stuck, and wasn't suppose to move in the first place.
I just don't want to make matters worse by not asking for guidance once I have looked at the situation and can't figure it out.
Any advice would be helpful, thank you.
