PO141 / PO161 Codes w / Check engine light

PO141 / PO161 Codes w / Check engine light
All,
My 99 E320 4matic V6 tripped these two codes. (PO141/161) As they are the postion two O2 sensors on BOTH banks I highly doubt both have failed at exacty the same time. Researching the forum yielded many different senerios, but each with an addtional code. Mine hasnt any addtional codes. One of the themes is air pump / check valve failure. Any advise on this would be helpful as I would prefer not to go on a wild goose chase.
