Question Help me decide.

We had lot's of rain a week a go, so I hydroplaned, and hit a guard rail. What I need to change is the bumper, headlight, and side marker light. I have Desert Silver (goldish color) 2001 Mercedes E320. Bodywise everything is OEM. So I need your opinion on few things.

Should I just replace one headlight with an OEM, or should I just replace both for the clear projector headlights?

For the bumper, I will assume there is really not much options other then buying an OEM?

And for the side marker lights (it's that yellow light on the side, shaped like a rectangular.) Should I replace it with OEM yellow/orange, or should I change both, for the clear lights?

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

*Yes I already bought Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires

Start with new tyres...to prevent further hydroplaning.

if you replaced it with projector, you're 'upgrading' for a more modern look
but the trade off will be a light with fewer lumens and a less focused beam.
if you're going to go with projector, better to retrofit with OEM HID projectors
so you come out with an improvement, not one where you have less light
which is what the projectors will give you

with silver car, i think it would look more integrated with clear lens. but!...be
sure to upgrade the bulbs to amber flashing units as flashing white bulbs are
not allowed in the US

There are threads on some forums (fora?) describing how to insert Xenons into projectors...with mixed results/

I'm not asking for "how to's", I just want to know the inputs as to what I should do.

IMO, if you can do it right...then do it. Of course the cheapest would be just to use OEM.
