Hi guys! New to this page, but hope to post on a regular
basis! Am on my third MBNZ and my second AMG:
1998 E430 Sport; 1999 C43 AMG; 2002 E55 AMG.
My question: has anyone actually found and used
any hi-perf low dust brake pads, like , EBC or Repco?
I'm really sick of doing the brake dust tango after every run!<G>
Thanks! Otto

try portified RS-4's many people have used them and are very pleased. they are low dust and provide exactly the same performance as OEM pads. check them out a www.myroadster.net.

I've heard of people using the Porterfields with favorable results. I have also heard of ppl using the ebc's and melting their rotors. Let us know how you like the porterfields if you try them out.

Thanks guys!
Gonna try the Porterfield-Brakes.Com product! I had an email conversation with a very knowledgeable car nut there; he said these pads are better than the MinTex or EBC, Repco Metalmasters, etc., etc because they are carbon-kevlar..i.e, very low dust yet long wearing and not overheating prone!
$250.00 total to my door! Not too shabby! I'll let 'ya'll know how they work out! Otto
