Replacing instrument cluster problem

97 w210, I bought a used replacement and installed it without difficulty, but the car will not start, panel lights up mileage is 60k more than mine, everything else seems to work, fuel, temp etc. I put the old one back in and the car starts fine. Any ideas?? Thanks, Chris

When you change a W210 IC, the best solution is to make sure that you swap with the EXACT part number. Did you do that, if not what is the part number of the IC you purchased. Thank you!

I am looking for a 1997 Instrument cluster for 320E Mercedes. Does any one know how to find one?

Before you look for a replacement. Find out the part number for the existing IC. Then when you buy one make sure the part numbers are the same.
