Brake Rotor Runout

For a W210, does anyone know what the maximum runout for the brake rotors are?

I'm not sure about this, but this is very important if they are worn to replace then as fast as you can. If you have viberation when stopping or a grin, then they are worn. Also...If you see a full lip on the rotors they are worn...Hope everything works out well for ya. I had to replace my front rotors and they did not cost much.

Thanks, I found a good write up about brakes in the tire/wheel/brake forum on this site. Luke, from the Tirerack, provide most of the data. On side note, the lip on the edge of stock rotor is not the final indication that the rotor is worn out. The material of a stock MBZ rotor is fairly soft and the edge ridge forms quickly with use. Given that the rotors are soft and an expendable item, it is probably best to replace, rather than resurface if vibration problems occur. I went with Brembo replacement rotors @ $55 each and I went with Pagid 548 pads. These are basically stock pads, I can live with the dust, I can't live the squeal that others experience with more HP pads.

For my E320, it is my family car, so I even went with a boring 17" tire wheel combo to maintain the ride. I have 17X9.5s with 255/40s in the rear and 17X8 with 235/45s in the front. Not a common setup, but I like the old school look. Don't get me wrong, I like the larger combos, but I am not trying to make an E55, I just need a car to take me from Sacramento to Los Angelos with a quick, but smooth ride.

If I want to horse around with corners I can always ride my go karts or my rice burner.

Thanks for the info.

Rob
