unlock switch on dash not responding
Suddenly the switch on my dash that unlocks my doors does not work. Seems like the locks are trying to open but no actual movement. Suggestions?

Is other equipment which utilizes pneumatic services working normally on your car? (rear head restraint release, orthopaedic seating, trunk release, etc.)
I think the switch sends a CAN signal to the Pneumatic Services Equipment - so the problem might not be the switch if it's working consistently when the engine is off.
On W210 cars, the PSE unit is located under the rear seat.
